I beadweave on a custom built loom, capable of large pieces like guitar straps, belts, hat bands, purse straps and of course bracelets. I use size 8 beads for durability and ease of use. My warp threads are done in C-Lon cord for extra durability (I use 2 cords on each outside edge for strength). The leftover threads are macramed and knotted, not glued. (The weft threads are Nymo size D beading thread.) My loom projects are backed with fine grain leather in complimentary colors, hand sewn through each row to attach to the leather, no glue used. Clasps and closures are adjustable and customizable as to material and color.
